The new academic year brings  the last round of internship places  to students from the Faculty of political, Administrative and Communications Sciences organized within the project “Vocational counseling, internships and simulated enterprise: an extra chance in finding a job for students following specializations in public administration, communication, public relations and advertising“(HRD / 161 / 2.1 / G / 137 510) developed by Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences and Danis Foundation.

The students have the chance to have direct contact with the business environment in Cluj through internships in NGOs, public institutions and companies. 22 students will benefit work experience, while learning and preparing for the work environment, being encouraged to get involved in all the organization’s activities, as well as being encouraged to initiate their own projects and activities.

The real contact with the labor market offer to intern students the opportunity to learn directly what being employed means, how to work in teams, how to a adapt to a fixed schedule, how to cooperate and collaborate with the other members of the organization and how to apply the what they learned in faculty and apply them to real projects and activities.

Until now, 178 FSPAC students have graduated the internship program in 27 organizations – public institutions, NGOs and companies.By the end of the project, at least 200 students will be involved in these internships.

The students who have already finished their internships are more than glad about the experience they had:

My internship was new experience which acted as a training for me, as I had the chance to organize an event, starting from a platform. Being the first experience in which an event had to be organize from zero, it felt a bit overwhelming. But with a good time management and a clear order of my responsibilities, I had a happy ending. I was very glad that I had the chance to exercise exercise and learn new skills like social, time management, team work and public speaking. I managed to acquire knowledge and info about how an organization works and I met many new people who made me think about the real possibility to take part as a full member of this type of organization.” (Andrei Gliga, intern at Fundația Comunitară Cluj).
