SIVSEN – bringing together VET provides and social enterprises

SIVSEN – Social Innovation through VET and Social Enterprise Networks project seeks to learn from the social enterprise sector, ensure that the knowledge, skills, and mindset applicable to working in a social enterprise is embedded in Vocational Education and create enhanced opportunities for the growth and internationalization of social enterprises. The project is addressed to formal training providers (colleges, high-education institutions, schools etc.), informal VET (Vocational Education Training) providers/educators and Social Enterprises employers.

In 2021 & 2022, Fundatia Danis together with its partners from the UK, Italy and Sweden aim at exploring, collecting, and analyzing comparative experiences across several social entrepreneurship environments. In particular, we focus on the outcome for work experience placements to build a “SIVSEN Social Enterprise Programme Framework”, stimulating effective exchange between training providers and social entrepreneurs. Also, the project will deliver a Return on Investment Guide for social entrepreneurs interested in developing work experience placements for VET learners.

SIVSEN – Social Innovation through VET and Social Enterprise Networks project is developed under the Erasmus+ programme by five partner organizations based in the UK, Italy, Sweden and Romania: City College Plymouth, Plymouth Social Enterprise Network, Urkraft, Matera Hub, and Fundatia Danis.
